This is not in any way a life-threatening problem, but one that bothers me a bit:
In real, if I were to describe my skin-tone I would say it's some sort of very light beige-yellow-brown colour that can appear to have a greenish tint because my veins are very close under the skin. I don't get sun-burns, even when not using any sun screen. The only time I did get burnt was when I feel asleep with my face in the sun on a boat for six hours. I usually just turn a shade darker.
However, most digital pictures that are taken with auto, or a not very carefully adjusted white balance I turn pink. In the precise pink-skinned tone that a lot of light skinned people I know actually have in real. Is there some sort of weird auto-adjust in those cameras that turns all people with light skin auto-pink?
What is going on?

My Umeå Höstljus 2010 (Autumn lights festival in Umeå) installation in action!
It did this once every evening at about sundown, then "collapsed" in the morning.
The photos of the single steps are taken by Niklas Carlsson.
Konsthögskolan/University of Art Umeå didn't want me... so I'll be at the art school I am at right now for another year and then apply again (and maybe some other places as well).

Ok... so this is what I've spent my last few weeks with.
I have an installation for the Autumn Lights Festival in Umeå

The night forest is timed to grow upwards on the trees in the evening and disappears again in the day for the next 10 days. The trees are 13 metres tall... and we used 480 metres of light rope, 1600 cable ties, nearly 100 square metres of chicken wire, 55 plugs and a kilometre of cable for this. It was my idea, but I could never have completed this without the VKK members which worked on it with me in the evenings.

I don't want to ever hear anyone complaining about me working att too small scale again! :P

Yesterday I realised that Velicio has an extra nipple.
So he has seven in total.
Almost as cool as an extra toe (or two), like some cats have ;P

Reading up on swedish modernist painters and coming across this (vague re-writing of it by me):
"She was really active and a prominent figure in the swedish art scene, blablabla, she had 106 exhibitions, blabla, highly productive, blablabla, 30 years as an artist, oh and... then she was randomly lobotomised and died of it."

Just fetched Coffee from the vet, minus kitten-making options. Currently she's walking in circles in the bathroom, falling over from time to time.
