I feel like a wrung out rag. Have been since the night before yesterday. So today I wasn't at my practical training at the school in Umeå. Luckily today was not one of my lessons at least. Emilie is going to have it, but it feels a bit odd nonetheless since she has helped a little during the lessons I have had. And she hates touching clay (the class is a ceramics one).
So... yesterday evening I decided to at least have a clay object made with slab-cutting-technique for my group later and discovered that the rolling pin we have at home is about the worst. After a while of trying I had thought about throwing the rolling pin and the mug I was making out of the (closed) window and drown myself in slicker.
This morning buying a new rolling pin seems like the better option.
Have been sculpting in clay like crazy otherwise. Not so often I actually have access to a kiln (not to mention free glazes and underglazes ;P )
This is one of the things I made:
(Had to sharpen the picture overly because otherwise the details wouldn't show up, but you get the idea...)
Lina is still in Leeds and I am living my life alone in the two floor house which is a bit intimidating at times. Coffee-kitty is still in heat, but she's going to get her wishes soon. So we can have kittens around holiday-time.
I have so many pictures and I never show any. The practical training is pretty good at eating my life as well...

There is a song called "London after Midnight", that I have been wanting to find a complete version of for years. I don't mean the band by that name. The artist is called Valmont.
Anyone know that song?

Today morning: Sculpted Helena's head in clay and she sculpted mine.
Today afternoon and evening: Did a usual x-ray, a computed tomography and a magnetic resonance scan of my head.
