We had to give up on our car, since the catalyzer fell off and repairing that damage (along with a bunch of other half broken things) would be more expensive and annoying than is worth it... and we had already decided that we would get a new (new for us, not new-new) one when I got my inheritence.

Ok... so I was trying too search for a particular actor. Who as in a Star Trek episode ages ago. But I remembered neither the name of the actor nor the episode. So I was searching for the best thing describing the character (which was not very specific, but might just have struck others too).

Apart from that I don't actually eat cheese unless hot and melted (and have a comparatively friendly disposition towards these animals than most people), I sure would not want to have a distraught maggot hitting me in the eye while eating, or take up residency in my intestines.

Gas/Petrol isn't expensive.

If you count everything by the same usefullness value, things get a whole new meaning. As eoeo, briseis and I established: It's for example much cheaper to buy a litre of petrol to have at the cinema than a litre of popcorn, or mixed sweets.
Milk is cheaper per litre than petrol. But it is probably a bad idea to fill the car up with milk next time.

Well... I appear to have managed to break a bottle-return-machine at Willys today. I was just happingly stuffing in my bottles (properly bottom first) when it just refused to take another, started blinking yellow in the display (without actually displaying anything) and screaming bloody murder (bleeping, loudly, without end in sight, almost as bad as our heating when it runs out of food*).
My mature reaction was to discreetly stand aside, pretend I didn't hear or see anything and put the rest of the bottles in the machine next to it... which in retrospect might not have been so amazing, but yeah... when I walked out of the bottle-return-room, people from the staff came running to pacify the upset machine, so I guess it got taken care of.

Lina's uncle's wife is going to celebrate her 50th birthday in a big hall. She doesn't want any presents, but instead has asked everyone to bring 250 SEK, to cover the costs for food and hall. Thing is... I don't have that on top of everything I need to pay this month.
She could've gotten a beautiful hematite-jewel beetle wing-silver necklace, but as it is, I am probably not even going to be there. Oh well.
